This is a used Yamaha YAS-62 3rd Generation, a highly regarded model known for its reliability and performance, favored by professionals and advanced players alike. Overall, the saxophone shows minimal signs of use and is in good condition, though there are minor scratches throughout the body. There is a noticeable scratch on the side of the bell, as well as two areas on the front where the lacquer has peeled. These details can be clearly seen in the photos. The included G1 neck also has a few small scratches, but they do not affect the sound or playability. The case is functional, though two of the feet on the bottom are missing, and there is some fabric wear. Despite these cosmetic issues, the saxophone is still in excellent working condition and provides the quality tone and durability expected from Yamaha instruments. *Mouthpiece and ligature are NOT included.* Please review the photos carefully for more details, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

<YAS-62, 3rd Generation; the features and recommendations> These are the features and recommendations of the 3rd generation. One of the major changes is the neck, which has been greatly improved and now features a G1 neck specially designed for the YAS-62. The neck octave key is more stable and heavier than the simple design of the previous models, and a plate with the "G1" engraved on the body of the neck has been attached, giving the impression of a heavier and more cohesive sound. The overall bore (diameter) has also been enlarged to give it a more modern volume and resistance feel. The pitch is more stable and the moderate resistance allows for sufficient volume without compromising sound quality. It allows large ensembles such as brass bands to enjoy playing together without being buried in the crowd.
