Made in Japan. Finished in gold lacquer.
There are minor scratches on the body from normal use. There is rust on the logo engraving on the bell, as well as on the areas around the model and serial numbers. The pads show signs of use but are still in relatively good condition. There are a few spots of lacquer peeling on both the YAMAHA 62 neck and the body (please see photos for details). Rust and dust can be seen on the underside of the keys. The included SELMER 180 mouthpiece has discoloration and marks from a patch. The original case is also included, though it does not have a locking function.

The G1 neck for the YAS-62, which could only be used on the YAS-62, has been eliminated and replaced with a YAS-62-specific “62 neck” that is interchangeable with the custom necks that can be used on the YAS-480 and Custom Series. The YAS-62 is equipped with a special “62 neck” for the YAS-62, which is interchangeable with the custom neck for the Custom Series.
Improvements are evident throughout, with attention paid to the pitch system and fine details that fit the shape of the human hand, which are the charms of YAMAHA-made instruments. ** Please Note
