Made in Japan. Finished in gold lacquer.
《Condition》
Condition is Great. It shows signs of use overall, but there are no cracks in the body pads or corks, and there are no dents. There are age-related scratches and lacquer loss throughout the instrument, with especially noticeable lacquer loss on the keys, strap ring, and the floral engraving area on the side of the bell. There are also several small scratches. Please check the photos for details of the scratches and lacquer loss. A SELMER S80 C* mouthpiece is included, and the mouthpiece cap is YAMAHA. The mouthpiece has no bite marks and has been cleaned, and it is in clean condition. Accessories include the original case. The case key is not included. For more details, please see the photos.

The YAMAHA YSS-62 “Purple Logo” is a sought-after vintage-era straight soprano saxophone from the classic 62 series, known for its warm, focused tone and excellent playability. Purple Logo examples from this period are favored by players and collectors alike.
Please note: Purple Logo models are vintage-era saxophones. Even if the exterior appears clean, additional maintenance such as adjustment, pad work, or cork replacement may be needed after arrival depending on the condition at that time and the judgment of the player or technician.
*The stand and cloth are NOT included, for shooting purposes only.
*For Best Play : Most items have not been recently maintained. If there is any recent maintenance information, we include it in the detailed information.
Whether or not the instrument has undergone maintenance, we recommend that you have the instrument adjusted to your playing style if you wish to play it in better condition.
